When I woke up on the Monday after Christmas, I really thought it was a good thing that Brit & Daz had decided to have their wedding ceremony inside, I also thought it was going to be freezing. Turns out, by mid afternoon the clouds had cleared, the sun was shining and the inside ceremony meant we couldn’t hear all the festivities going on in the Glenelg parklands!
Brit & Daz were married in the function rooms at the Glenelg Pier Hotel, once the ceremony was over, the room was then transformed into the perfect cocktail reception venue while the happy couple and their guests enjoyed drinks and each others’ company in the bar. I did manage to steal the newlyweds away for a few photos outside (despite a camera-shy groom*), here are a few of my favourites from the day. There were many beautiful little details from the “kiss me quick” engraving on Daz’s wedding band to Brit’s “something old” being one of the cufflinks her grandfather wore on his wedding day. With family and friends from all corners of Australia travelling for the occasion, you can’t miss the love between these two, they just make each other happy, so happy!
