I know, it’s been a couple of weeks now*, but here are some of my favourite images from the 2010 Adelaide Fashion Festival. It was such a great experience to be the Official Photographer, I really felt like a part of the team as I’d been working with the organisers for months behind the scenes doing promo shoots and such before the festival even started. Once the event kicked off, we all wondered how we would make it through, then somewhere between fashion parades, other events and having a crazy flu-fever thing going on I made it through and it felt that it was over before it started. Each event had a different purpose and feel, the venues varied from a marquee by the beach to an outside catwalk on one of Adelaide’s busiest roads to grand old concert halls and the fashion, everywhere, was breathtaking!
The following people deserve some love for all their hard work:
Adriana, Lindsey, Rachel & Skana : City of Norwood, Payneham & St Peters : Festival Organisers
Dale Dorning : [and his TAFESA team] Proof Cosmetics : Festival Make-up Director
Ida Tirimacco : [and her team] Orbe : Festival Hair Director
Sophie, Sarah & Tony : Adelaide Hills TV : AFF TV
Selena, Peter & Adam : Adelaide Fashion Collective : Online Media
Brigitte : [her team and her models] : Finesse Models Australia
Christabel : [her team and her models] : Pride Models
Plus of course, the designers and stores who were involved and everyone else [including my assistant Lisa who helped out on the promo shoot as well as covering the Designers Showcase]. Details of all the sponsors can be found on the AFF website, and all of the official photos can be found on Haute Photography’s FaceBook page.
Congratulations to all involved, what a wonderful event, let’s do it again next year!
