There were are few things working against me photographing Kylee & Ash’s wedding/commitment weekend at The Retreat at Chapel Hill Winery in McLaren Vale. The main one was Kylee’s suspected broken ankle, she couldn’t really walk too far and couldn’t fit a shoe comfortably on her foot as it was so swollen. Despite this, she was in high spirits and wasn’t going to let it spoil her day*.
Kylee & Ash make each other laugh so much, it makes me think, love and happiness are so important, no matter who it is that you love.
Even when the vines aren’t green and the sky is grey, McLaren Vale is just beautiful, we are so lucky to have this area so close to our city:

The guestbook with photographs from our shoot a couple of months ago was a huge hit too, their guests loved how personal it was.
*I didn’t see her using the crutches once!
