about me
I’m allergic to grass*…

Apart from that, I am one of those few annoyingly lucky people that feels so passionate about my work that it doesn’t feel like work at all! Not that I don’t work hard, I am utterly exhausted after a full day of shooting.
Things that make me me, make me smile, that I love and that I don’t get to do nearly often enough:
afternoon sunshine on the trees, having parsley that is larger than most shrubs but killing coriander every time, being a figure skater, loving snow skiing, but not being able to deal with an Australian Winter, sunsets over the city, being a terrible painter, illustrator, sculptor and feeling embarrassed about it, but not being embarrassed when I take a bad photo as I learn from it, pasta, cheese, bread, potatoes, giggles, a good massage, cooking, curling up with my kitty-cat, blasting my favourite songs in the car and singing as loud as I can, camping trips with friends, spending time laughing and exploring with my niece and nephews, my husband, his eyes, his smile, his heart, live music, crying at romantic & sad movies, travelling and exploring different countries and cultures, trying to make my own jewellery, OJ, every day, always wanting to do more or change something.
At the age of 24 I decided to take the leap and follow my dreams, after 4 years of hard work, studying at the CCP, becoming accredited with the AIPP, converting from film to digital and taking the very scary but exciting step of leaving part time work, Haute Photography was developed and I couldn’t be happier. I am truly grateful to have finally found my place in this amazing world that is photography and that my husband, friends and family have been right by my side in getting here.
I believe in providing my wedding clients with a finished product, an album to share with generations to come and truly beautiful pieces of art to display throughout your home. I also believe in shooting only one wedding per weekend so that every single client gets the very best from a fresh and happy photographer. I also believe in using only the best suppliers for my products which means my clients get a lifetime guarantee on all prints and albums (provided they aren’t mistreated).
So get in contact, give me a call or drop me and email, let’s chat about how we can combine our visions and work together to create images that will take both your and my breath away.
