Here’s a link to an article which many photographers around the world now refer their potential clients to. It is not so much a justification of what you’re being charged (as professionals we shouldn’t have to do that) but it will give you an insight into how much work goes on before and after the shutter release is pressed. Let’s not forget the cost of equipment and insurance also that go on top of these endless hours of work.
